Devon White & the Toronto Blue Jays

Devon White was a standout center fielder for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1991–1995, becoming an important part of the club’s championship era. Known for his tremendous speed, range and defensive instincts, White won three Gold Gloves with Toronto and was an American League All-Star in 1993.

White played a major role on the Blue Jays’ back-to-back World Series championship teams in 1992 and 1993. During the 1992 World Series, he made one of the most memorable defensive plays in Blue Jays postseason history, making a spectacular running catch against the Atlanta Braves.

Over his five seasons in Toronto, White appeared in 656 games, collecting 733 hits, 72 home runs, 274 RBIs and 126 stolen bases while batting .270.
